Plastic surgery procedures

Here is the list of various plastic operations we offer, with detailed information regarding each one: face lifting, liposuction, breast lift, breast enlargement, breast reduction, varicose vein removal, hair reconstruction surgery etc.

Laser dermabrasion

Laser dermabrasion makes possible the following:

  • removal of facial wrinkles
  • smoothing of acne scars
  • elimination of discolorations

The method is used only for the face.

Epithelium is evaporated with the use of a CO2 laser.

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);

Gynaecomastica surgery

The disease affects men and is manifested by excessive development of the breasts.

Depending on the result of a USG examination and on the size of the breasts, a minor procedure (liposuction) can be performed, i.e. adipose tissue can be removed by suction, or a surgical procedure is indicated where the breast is excised through an incision at the nipple's areola edge.

The procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia. Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.

Face lift

A surgical procedure performed in order to rejuvenate facial appearance. Following the procedure, the skin is more toned and wrinkles are shallower. The procedure is adjusted to the patient's needs and can involve the forehead, the temples, the whole face, and the neck. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia.

Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight. Sutures are removed after 7 and 14 days post-operation.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.

Nose shape correction

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight. The plaster cast and sutures are removed after 9 days.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking).

Effects: nose shape correction

Liposuction

The procedure is performed under lumbar anaesthesia. Adipose tissue can be removed from the abdominal, buttock, breast, hip, thigh, or calf areas. Through 4-mm-long incisions, adipose tissue is suctioned out with the use of a cannula from the area marked before the procedure. Adhesions are formed in the suctioned site, therefore adipose tissue does not re-grow later.

Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight. After the procedure, wearing an elastic dressing (corset) is recommended in order to speed up the skin shrinkage and oedema reduction process.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.

Effects: Liposuction

The following photos - in pre-surgery and post-surgery pairs - demonstrate the effects of this procedure.

Liposuction

Peeling

Peeling is exfoliation of the superficial layer of the epithelium. This method is classified into deep, moderately deep and shallow peeling used in cosmetic salons. Moderately deep and deep peeling can be performed only by a trained surgeon, usually require general anaesthesia, and sometimes monitoring with the use of medical equipment.

Intermediately deep peeling

"Weekend peeling" is often performed as the only possible type of peeling for patients who have a busy lifestyle. The patient may return to normal professional activity after only 5 days. Such peeling can be applied many times, almost over the whole body.

It is particularly recommended for skin discoloration on the face, neck, décolleté, hands; the removal of shallow wrinkles on the face, neck, décolleté; and the smoothing of shallow scars. Anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin about 30 minutes before the planned procedure. It is not necessary to perform any tests beforehand. The procedure takes about 40 minutes and the patient does not have to stay in the clinic afterwards.

Deep peeling

Before this procedure, the patient has to be referred to a laboratory for blood tests and an ECG examination. Peeling is performed under intravenous anaesthesia. The patient is required to stay in the clinic overnight and then stay at home for 8 days. The following are indications to the procedure:

  • discolorations
  • deep facial wrinkles
  • sagging facial skin (non-surgical lift)
  • loose eye lid skin
  • senile facial skin

Abdominoplasty

A surgical procedure performed on persons with excessive skin in the abdominal area encountered in obese people or after pregnancy. The procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia.

After treatment, the patient stays in the clinic for several days; the length of stay depends on the patient's general condition. Sutures are removed after 14 days.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.

Breast lift

This surgical procedure is performed on women with sagging breasts. The excessive skin is removed without removing the glandular tissue. After the operation the breasts are more condensed, which results in more prominent protrusion, and a higher position, just as in younger women. The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia.

Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight. On the next day, the drains are removed and the patient is required to wear a bra for some time post-operation.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.
Breast lift

Breast enlargement

A surgical procedure performed on women in order to enlarge and improve the shape of breasts with the use of silicone prostheses. The size of the silicone inserts is selected individually for each patient, as is the height, width, and convexity of the prosthesis, depending on the patient's wishes, the anatomical built of the chest and the biological potential of tissues. We have at our disposal many types of prostheses differing in shape, including the so-called anatomical prostheses with a water-drop profile.

Depending on the patient's constitution and size of breasts, the prostheses can be instilled through a hole made in the inframammary fold or at the edge of nipple areola, or through an incision in the axillar area. The prosthesis may be placed directly under the mammary gland or somewhat deeper, i.e. beneath the major pectoral muscle.

The procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia. Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight, then the drains are removed. Sutures are removed after 7 days. The patient is required to wear a special bra for some time post-operation, in order to immobilise the breasts and correctly position the prostheses.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.
Breast enlargement

Upper and lower lid surgery (blepharoplasty)

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia.

Suture removal after 5 days.

Requirements:

  • tests: complete blood count, blood coagulation tests;
  • good general state of health.

Breast reduction

A surgical procedure performed in women with overdeveloped breasts. The glandular tissue is surgically removed along with the created excess of skin. An indication to the procedure may also be existing asymmetry of the breasts.

The procedure is performed under general anaesthesia. Following the procedure, the patient stays in the clinic overnight. The drains are removed in the morning of the following day and the patient is discharged home. Sutures are removed after 7 days. After the operation, the patient is advised to wear a bra in order to immobilise the breasts until the surgical wounds are completely healed.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
  • good general state of health.

Adipose tissue grafting

A procedure performed under general anaesthesia. Most often, adipose tissue is collected from the abdomen. A single suture is made where the needle has been inserted. The grafted fat is used for wrinkle filling or lip enlargement.

Requirements:

  • tests: blood group, complete blood count, blood coagulation tests, ESR, blood sugar, serum ions, ECG, chest x-ray;
  • 6-hour fasting before the procedure (without eating or drinking);
